Data privacy in our AI applications
Sinabis Assistant, Sinabox and Sinacluster are built for companies, law firms and public authorities whose data must not leave the building. The AI runs on your own hardware or in our data center in Germany, with open models and without US providers.
Two ways to run the AI
Whether on your own Sinabox or in the Sinacluster: chats and documents belong to you, and no language model provider ever gets to see them.
Web search only with your approval
Out of the box, the Sinabox does not communicate with the outside world. If your team needs current information from the internet, we enable web search. The assistant then shows the query it would send before every search and only searches once the person confirms it. That way no confidential content ends up in a search engine by accident.
What applies either way
Questions about data privacy in your AI?
We show you how Sinabis Assistant would run at your organization and answer the questions of your IT team, data protection officer or works council.
Available Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 (CET).
Frequently asked questions
What we get asked most often about this topic. If your question is missing, write to office@sinabis.com.
No. Chats and documents are not used to train models. Fine-tuning happens only when explicitly commissioned, and the adapted model stays with the customer.
On the customer's Sinabox or in their area of the Sinacluster in Germany. The customer decides how long chats are kept.
No. Once set up, it runs offline. Updates and web search happen only if the customer enables them, and the person confirms every search query beforehand.
Not on the Sinabox. In the Sinacluster, our operations team accesses the systems only for maintenance and support, and every access is logged.
Only open language models running on the Sinabox or in the Sinacluster. Requests are not sent to the APIs of US providers.
